Our family centre began as the Chatterbox Parents & Toddlers Group in 1995 and has been running since then on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during term time for 0 - 5 year olds and their parents or caregivers.

Your child can enjoy free play whilst you enjoy chatting with other parents or caregivers over a free cuppa. We have a variety of educational tabletop activities, climbing frame, tunnel, slide, ball pool, a fantastic sensory room, role play equipment & a creative table. At 11am we enjoy songs & a story time where you can sit with your child to encourage their participation and at 11.15am the children enjoy a healthy snack.

Please note that we do not allow food & drink brought from home to be consumed in the main play area.

Nominal entrance fee: £1 per adult, 50p per child.

The entrance to the family centre is off the car park on Trinity Street and through the glass-fronted porch.

On-site parking at the front & rear of the building is limited but alternative paid parking is available at the multi-storey White River Place Carpark, PL25 5AZ on Trinity St, a short walk from the church. Parking fees: up to 2 hours £1.20 and up to 3 hours £3.00.
